Cooking Workshops
The Great Oven Lebanon hosted a series of cooking workshops designed to facilitate connection across diverse backgrounds. These sessions were led by women from the migrant community, who shared technical expertise and recipes from their home countries while preparing a collective meal. By centering the workshops on peer-led teaching, the program turned the kitchen into a space for cultural exchange and professional recognition.
The workshops functioned as a welcoming environment where participants could meet across communities and address isolation through shared action. Beyond the technical skills, these sessions served as a platform for building new relationships and social cohesion, using the kitchen as a bridge between cultures.
